Preschool Director
Mary Felson, Preschool Director “Let the Children Come Unto Me.” Mark 10:14
It is an honor, privilege and pleasure to serve the Lord as an AWANA leader, Sunday School teacher and now as Pre-School Director. I do not take these responsibilities lightly. I delight at the sound of children singing such songs as “Jesus Loves Me” and praying their sweet prayers. I love it when I hear a child re-tell a Bible story and recite a Bible verse. I feel strongly that seeds should be planted early in life… seeds of learning all about the Bible, of Jesus’ love for us and the great sacrifice He made for us. To that end, our teachers and workers are the FirSTeps to guiding and nurturing our young ones for a lifetime with Jesus in a loving and caring fashion.
I asked Jesus to come into my heart and wash away my sins; to be my personal Savior at age 17. It was the best decision I ever made. Everyday with Jesus IS sweeter than the day before.
I have been married to Ron Felson since 1980. I have two daughters and three sons. I had another son that went Home to be with the Lord at age three months.
I have served the Lord over the years singing in the choir, Sunday School teacher, AWANA leader, VBS and GA’s. I was also a Scouts leader.
I am available to anyone who wishes to speak to me concerning their child or about volunteering to help in the preschool, or if you have a burden and need prayer or someone to just be there for them. I am committed to not only praying over our Preschool area as a whole, but for each individual child who spends time with us. If you or your child have special prayer needs, my door is open to you.
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
My favorite hymn is, “He Lives”….. I serve a risen Savior…. E-mail address: Mfelson@firstbaptistdawsonville.com.
