Welcome to First Baptist Church of Dawsonville. I am so glad you took the time to check us out. Our purpose is "To Magnify God's name by introducing people to Jesus Christ and Membership in His family, growing them to Christian Maturity and preparing them for their ministry in the church and Life Mission in the world."

In Colossians 4:12 Paul wrote to the church at Colosse, "...that you may become mature Christians and may fill up God's will for you." Paul's desire for those believers is the same as our desire for all of First Baptist's members. To help accomplish our purpose of helping believers become mature Christians; we offer children, teenagers, and adults the most impactful curriculum materials in our Sunday morning small-group Bible studies, mid-week educational programs and activities, Life Courses, conferences, and seminars.
